Privacy Policy

Frank helps you tailor your CV to a job ad. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@frankcv.com.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address and, if you set one, your name. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
• CV and job ad text. When you run a tailor, the text extracted from your CV and the job ad you paste are sent to our servers and to our AI provider so the score and rewrite can be generated.
• Saved base CV. Only if you choose to save one. It is stored in a private bucket that only your account can read.
• Usage and billing data. Tailor counts, scores, pass purchases and payment status. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

• To produce your score, missing keywords and rewritten CV.
• To keep your history so you can come back to previous tailors.
• To apply your pass or credits and issue receipts.
• To send account emails such as sign up confirmation, password resets and receipts.
• To fix bugs and improve the quality of the rewrites.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run the service: a cloud database and authentication provider, an AI model provider for the analysis and rewrite, Stripe for payments, and an email provider for transactional email. They only receive what they need to do their job. We do not sell your data and we do not use your CV to train public AI models.

How long we keep it

Tailor history and saved CVs stay in your account until you delete them or close your account. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except anything we must keep by law.

Your choices

• You can view, change or delete your saved CV and details from your account page.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask for your account to be deleted.
• You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is restricted by row level security so your records are only readable by your account and our server processes.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. If we run advertising or analytics tags, they are used to measure how people find and use the site, not to build profiles for third parties.
